What you can do! In shirt design you can do almost anything. Of course this is dependent
on cost. Here is a quick breakdown off some of the things you can do
and ballpark figure of the cost associated.
Picking your type of shirt
1. You may choose any combination of shirt style (including the colors of the shirts) – No extra cost
2. There are no minimum orders on shirt styles or combinations (for
example, I can order 4 black tee shirts, 1 green tee shirt, and a golf
shirt in one order with no extra charge.)
Picking the location of the print
1. You may choose to have printing on one or two sides – depending on
the number of shirts ordered the cost it 1.00-3.00 per side, per shirt
2. You may choose the location of the prints. (Most common are the full front, right chest, left chest and full back.)
Picking the colors of ink
1. You may choose a number of different colors in your design. Each
color is printed by using a “plate”. Each plate has a one time set up
charge to make of around 15.00. (for example, I’m printing a shirt that
has a one-color logo on the front and a two-color logo on the back. I
will have to pay a one time set up charge for three plates.)
2. If I need to re-print a shirt that I have made and the logo or plate
did not change, I will not have to pay the set up charge again. (This
includes a change in ink color. If last year I used black shirt and
white ink and this year I want to use white shirt and black in then
there is no set up charge.)
3. There is a “change of ink charge for each ink that is not including
in the 1.00-3.00 printing charge because it’s a per order charge. (So,
for that same shirt with the one color white ink front and two color
back white and red ink back . . . I will have to pay 7.00 for one ink
change. If I have a three-color logo I will have to pay 14.00 ink
change of ink charge.
For example
1. If I were to order 10 shirts at 8.00 a shirt with a two-color logo
on the front it would look like this (please keep in mind these are
ballpark numbers, the cost varies depending on the number of shirts
ordered):
30.00 over all for the plated
7.00 for ink charge
8.00 per shirt (for 10 shirts 80.00)
2.00 per shirt for the print on front
137.00 for order or 13.70 per shirt
2. If I were to order 5 tee shirts at 8.00 each and 5 golf shirts at
10.00 each and a one color logo on the front (please keep in mind these
are ballpark numbers, the cost varies depending on the number of shirts
ordered)
15.00 over all for the one plate
40.00 for tee shirts
50.00 for golf shirts
2.00 per shirt for the printing on the front
125.00 for the order or 12.50 per shirt
Extra touches
1. You can add some extra touches to your order . . . embroidery of
names can be added to your shirt for 3-5.00 per shirt. This can be
added on the sleeves, front.
2. Numbers can be added on the back for around 3.00. These are screened on not ironed on.
